As part of the Post-Production subject in my Multimedia course at ESMAD, we had to practice our video editing skills by re-editing a previous video project or by editing a lyric video to any song of our choosing. I chose "Siege Tower", by the black metal band Curta'n Wall.
  The song themes are of medieval warfare, mentioning weapons and atrocities commited in these wars in banal ways as to satirize the nonsensical and unecessary violence that was specially brutal in those times. I thought it would be fun to combine those themes with stock footage of the world wars, challenging myself to match the old concepts and equipment present in the lyrics to modern equivalents - for example, a tank instead of a siege tower.
  I believe I was successful in translating the song's lyrics into a visually engaging story and conveying an anti-war message.
