First post! What's this? What's up?

Hi... so... this is my website I guess. IT'S STILL A WIP ALPHA BETA TEST CONCEPT!!!
I bought the domain and created its rough draft last year when we were told in college to create a portfolio. Most of my peers just made basic stuff on like Behance or even Linktree/Carrd, but I saw it as an opportunity to finally force myself to create my own website for professional and personal use. I used my friend Moru's Endless Void as a big inspiration and managed to convince my friend Aton to create his own portfolio website on Neocities as well!
Learning the basics of HTML and CSS was easy, but I still don't know much after all this time. The neat thing about web developing is that, if you like a feature, you can just inspect the page and the code is all there lol. Most of my time spent here is implementing features I liked from other websites or experimenting with totally original ideas, which both still take a bunch of time (specially because I can't seem to decide how I want things and keep changing stuff around).
My goal right now is to finish my portfolio (the whole point of this shit) which currently just lists off a bunch of links to stuff I worked on - I'm turning it into an actual timeline with individual detailed pages for each project. I'll then divide the site in two parts: professional (about me, portfolio, contact, ...) and personal (about me but spicy, blog, fun stuff, ...) and start actually linking it to potential employers and new friends. I can't help myself, though, and have also been working on an interactible music related page to list my favorite albums, show off my own work and some useful stuff.
As for what's been going on my personal life - it's been okay! I'm in a brand new phase, working for the first time as an intern at a local multimedia company. It's really tiring, but my boss is highkey chill and the stuff we do is pretty cool.
Recently, I went to a Game Dev Meet, a event organized by some close friends of mine focused on promoting indie development and connecting with cool people, and it was one of the best editions of the event I've been to! Not only did they present a SCP fangame, one of my favorite portuguese projects, Panthalassa, which I saw for the first time in another GDM the year prior! I was very excited to hear the dev say that it was now going to be a full commercial game, but I had something in my mind: before the presentation, I noticed him wearing OFFICIAL PANTHALASSA MERCHANDISE (a t-shirt) and I waited until he asked the audience for questions to ask if and where I could buy one. I was then informed that he was actually going to give away 5 pieces of merchandise in a raffle that night. I obviously participated and, when he was announcing the winner of the first prize (the t-shirt), I HEARD MY NAME! It was pretty hype... Now I have one more piece of niche clothing in my collection.
Aside from that, the rest of the day was pretty awesome as well: I got to hang out with Aton during the day, discussing ideas for a Minecraft mod we're working on, and later that night my friend Casccas told me a story he wrote for a visual novel he wants to make and I almost cried at the end - then I told him I'll kill him if he never makes that game a reality.
So yeah... that's my attempt at a blog post. It feels good to write my thoughts and memories out like this, but I don't know if I'll do this frequently. Anyways, WISHLIST PANTHALASSA ON STEAM! bye
